I was 2 years old at that time... I don't know first hand how things unfolded, and it's probably better this way, this way I am still alive... The fact that the so called "revolution" was influenced (to say the least) from outside sources is irrefutable, it was in the interest and agenda of both foreign political and economical organisations...
The fact that people died, that could have been prevented, but it was essential for the way this country developed after the revolution, sacrifice, I am sorry to say, was needed.

Did the new leaders do a better job? No. Did the new political parties do their job in delivering democracy? No. Is the new generation ready for democracy and is it capable of installing a truly democratic regime? No. Am I going to leave this country, never come back and never proudly state its name? there is a thin possibility...

THERE IS NO OTHER PEOPLE ON THIS EARTH TO HAVE MURDERED IT'S LEADER ON CHRISMAS!
And that tells a lot about what happened back then.
